Judge Richard A. Jones is accepting applications for a one-year term law clerk position. The term law clerk position will start in July 2024. The exact start date to be determined and adjusted based on the Court’s need and agreement of parties. There may be an opportunity to extend the term at the completion of one year. This is primarily an in-chambers office position in the United States District Court Seattle courthouse. Candidate screening conferences and in-person interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

Judge Jones is looking for candidates with at least two years of post-graduate work experience in a high volume, production-oriented work environment, and/or a prior clerkship experience. Ideal candidate has both; prior clerkship experience to a U.S. District Court is strongly preferred.
