Legal Clinics

LBAW co-sponsors legal clinics statewide and in Seattle at El Centro de La Raza, where volunteer attorneys provide free, limited legal advice on legal issues, including personal injury, medical negligence, worker’s rights/wage claims, family law, immigration, criminal law, and property/landlord-tenant law.

Saturday, March 23, 2019 Clinic in Forks, WA

LBAW is co-sponsoring a legal clinic in Forks, WA at the Concerned Citizens Family Center with the Clallam-Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers. The clinic will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We are in need of family, tax, and landlord/tenant attorneys (Spanish-speaking a plus) for this clinic. Please email Yessenia Medrano, Director of Clinics, at [email protected] if you would like to volunteer or have any questions.

We provide a light dinner starting at 5:30 pm for all volunteers!

Attorneys are needed for consultations in the following areas of the law:

  • Immigration
  • Family
  • Consumer & Finance (includes Creditor/Debtor issues)
  • Landlord-Tenant
  • Criminal
  • Personal Injury
  • Employment

Non-Attorneys volunteers (i.e., legal staff and law students) are also needed for interpreting and conducting intakes.  Law students who volunteer may choose to shadow an attorney.
